Machinery World Expands Global Accessibility With A New Headquarters in India
Machinery World is delighted to announce that it has increased its capacity to handle business in India, and indeed on a global scale, opening a new headquarters based in Chennai, India.
With an office and storage depot in India, however, Machinery World now not only has easier access to equipment in the Far East and Asia Pacific, but also to potential clients who can now view the machinery before purchasing with much greater ease. Furthermore, it also gives clients a point of contact in the same time zone who can respond to enquiries immediately.
Additionally, with the option to now store sourced machinery in India rather than having it shipped to the UK, where it is often shipped abroad again once purchased, Machinery World will be able to considerably cut its carbon footprint, as well as the costs associated with shipping containers around the world.
Paul Crowter, managing director of Machinery World, commented: “With the rate that the Indian dairy and ice cream market is expanding, coupled with the volume of units we currently sell out there, we felt having a presence in India was a natural progression for Machinery World.
“We’ve successfully dealt with clients from all around the world for many years but having an office based in India opens many more options to us as a business. It improves our accessibility to other countries and continents with growing ice cream production markets such as Africa, China and Indonesia and to customers based outside of the UK and Europe.”
Vincent Raju, managing director of Machinery World India, added: “The Indian ice cream market is one of the most rapidly evolving in the world and unsurprisingly, every producer is seeking for the perfect mix of price and quality when it comes to machinery. With its experience within the sector and highly skilled purchasing staff, Machinery World is perfectly positioned to fulfil these demands and take a share of the market, not only in India, but also the rest of the Far East Asia Pacific.”
